Finland invites papers

Kaivos ’91, to be held in Helsinki, Finland, invites papers that study examples of “tomorrow’s mine and plant practice” and show “how to cut costs, improve productivity and increase safety.” The symposium is scheduled for June 2-4, 1991. Authors should submit their abstracts (300-500 words) by Sept. 21 to Professor Raimo Matikainen, The Finnish Association of Mining & Metallurgical Engineers, Vuorimiehentie 2A, SF-02150 Espoo, Finland.
