Faulted extension found by Acadia

Acadia Mineral Ventures has found the faulted extension of the Mooseland gold deposit in Halifax, Cty., N.S. Up to now the company believed the deposit, which has the potential for developing an estimated 500,000 tons grading 0.2 to 0.4 oz gold per ton over widths of five feet, was terminated to the east by the Tangier River fault.

The discovery increases considerably the mining potential of the deposit. MPH Consulting of Toronto is reviewing the geological data as a prelude to possible underground exploration.

Assay results from the latest eight holes drilled on the western portion of the deposit include: Hole Width Assay
