The company plans to carry out property-wide reconnaissance surveys as well as a diamond drill program on a massive sulphide zone and its related induced polarization anomalies.
First discovered in 1980, the Trinity property was the subject of several exploration programs, including preliminary work by BP Resources in 1986.
BP’s previous sampling of the massive sulphide horizon is reported to have returned values varying between 0.83% copper, 0.21% lead, 0.14% zinc, 1.06 oz silver and 0.013 oz gold over 3.2 ft to 3.97% copper, 0.72% lead, 3.57% zinc, 1.82 oz silver and 0.050 oz gold over 4.5 ft.
