Exploration underway on Tenquille prospect

Exploration work is progressing at the Tenquille Lake gold-silver prospect north of Pemberton Meadows, B.C., under a joint venture agreement between Tenquille Resources and Ajax Resources. Under the agreement, Ajax must spend $300,000 by Feb 28, 1989, to earn a 50% working interest in the prospect.

The current program, which includes mapping, geochemical, geophysical and geological surveys, has located some good anomalies along the sse zone between the Seneca and Crown shafts on the western portion of the claim blocks. To the east, soil and rock geochemistry on the No 4 zone have indicated a gold geochemical anomaly with several samples above 2,000 ppb and as high as 6,800 ppb. The No 4 zone extends over 3,000 ft and is over 100 ft wide. A previous grab assay from this zone ran 0.52 oz gold per ton and 4.l5 oz silver.
