Two financings have provided Robex Resources (RBX-M) with a total of $2.7 million, which it will use to explore the Diangount gold property in Mali, West Africa.
The junior has a 51% interest in the property, which covers a large geochemical anomaly. The property is believed to have geological similarities to the Sadiola Hill gold mine, 20 km to the northeast, which is being placed into production.
Initial drilling at Diangount will test the anomaly in the area of the Corne placer. Robex has two other gold projects in Mali, as well as properties in Canada.
