With some 2,396 metres of drilling completed to date, Link Mineral Ventures (LMVL-C) has encountered silver-copper mineralization at its Pionero property in Honduras.
A recent hole intersected 21.7 metres grading 67 grams silver per tonne plus 0.22% copper from 15.5 to 37.2 metres, which included 3.5 metres of 83.9 grams silver and 0.14% copper plus 1.9 metres of 206 grams silver and 0.57% copper. The hole also returned a 6-metre interval grading 300.8 grams silver plus 1.42% copper from 72.5 to 78.5 metres.
Copper-silver mineralization has been traced over an area measuring 2,600 by 1,300 metres. The mineralization is hosted in limestones and apparently related to an intrusion below Cerro Pinolapa. Assays are pending from other holes drilled to test the large, surface geochemical anomaly at Pionero.
Among Link’s other properties in Honduras is Hombre Libre, where drilling is under way. The junior has outlined gold soil anomalies at its Zamorano and San Fermin concessions, and an airborne geophysical survey has been launched over the Pionero, Hombre Libre, Zamorano and San Antonio de Oriente properties.
