Having completed a $700,000 financing,
The first phase of drilling will consist of 1,000 metres in five holes to verify that the property is prospective for porphyry copper and epithermal gold prospects. This will be followed by an additional five holes to test the system at depth and confirm the previously outlined gold and copper showings.
Previous work at Torrecillas included mapping and sampling, which outlined surface geological and geochemical evidence of an oxidized porphyry copper system surrounded by epithermal gold veins. The highest grades from the latter target varied from 1 to 36 grams gold per tonne.
Hebron Fjord has other properties in Peru, as well as projects in Labrador, Canada and Uzbekistan.
