EXPLORATION — Corner Bay launches drill program at Mexican prospect

Corner Bay Minerals (BAY-T) has launched a second drill program at the Alamo Dorado gold-silver property in Mexico’s Sonora state.

A first round of 10 reverse-circulation holes revealed a showing of continuous gold-silver mineralization. Each hole was sunk to a depth of between 40 and 80 metres. The average grade of the 10 holes was 100 grams silver and 0.31 gram gold per tonne.

The current drill program is testing mineralization along strike and downdip. Corner Bay has staked an additional 5,000 ha surrounding the property, in which it is earning a 100% interest by paying US$800,000 over four years.
