Gold producer LAC Minerals (TSE) is looking for a new vice- president exploration. Robert Valliant, appointed to the position in the spring of this year, has left the firm.
Valliant, who had been with the company since 1977 and was previously its director of exploration, took over many of the functions of retired Dennis Sheehan, the former senior vice-president exploration who served in that position for several years. Sheehan was also a member of LAC’s board of directors.
