EXPLORATION ’92 — LATIN AMERICA ROUNDUP — Menora acquires

Toronto-based Menora Resources (ME) says it has acquired an exclusive lease over the Estrella del Norte gold project in the Mexican state of Zacatecas.

The company says it will continue to test the property of five mining concessions under the new terms of its exploration agreement. Development drilling is scheduled. A private placement has been completed to finance the work program.

Meanwhile, in Guyana in South America, Menora says exploration work will start this month on the Tassawini gold project and the Wenamu base metal project. Menora’s joint venture partners in both projects are Altai Resources (TSE) and Noranda Exploration.
