EXPLORATION 1999 – Drilling planned for Free Maria

Partners MacMillan Gold (MMG-T) and Cambior (CBJ-T) are preparing to drill their jointly owned Free Maria gold property in northern Peru.

Cambior will operate the US$300,000 program, which will see 15 holes drilled to an average depth of 200 metres. The program is focused on a 700-by-600-metre area where anomalous gold-copper lithogeochemical values were obtained. The partners’ objective is to outline a gold deposit minable by open-pit methods. The target is coincident with a large geophysical anomaly.

Free Maria is near Cambior’s La Arena and La Virgin gold deposits.
