Exhibition focuses on Zimbabwe

The mining potential of Zimbabwe will be the focus of an exhibition to be held in Harare from Nov. 10 to 13.

Entitled, “Zimine ’97,” the conference will showcase the African country’s burgeoning minerals industry. More than 100 exhibitors are scheduled to participate.

A mining conference is scheduled to run concurrently with the exhibition.

Topics to be discussed include: selling minerals on the free market; sources of long-term finance; and the future of mining in southern Africa.
