Exall completes sampling on Mexican polymetallic bet

An underground sampling program has been completed on Exall Resources’ (TSE) La Verde Grande property in Sonora, Mexico.

Sampling on the upper level of the old mine returned values of 1.13% copper, 3.42% zinc, 0.12 grams gold per tonne and 71 grams silver across 18 metres. On the main level, sampling yielded 2.17% copper, 0.38% zinc, 0.19 grams gold and 88 grams silver over 26.4 metres. At the lower level, the mineralized structure contained 2.05% copper, 2.55% zinc, 0.1 grams gold and 10 grams silver across 15.9 metres. About 12 metres separate the three levels. Based on the encouraging results, the company plans to initiate a drill program immediately.

In other news, mining engineering firm Kilburn has been contracted to complete a feasibility study on Exall’s Santo Tomas copper-gold porphyry project in Sinaloa, Mexico. The study is intended to confirm the viability of solvent extraction-electro-winning for processing copper oxide ores. Exall also has an agreement with American Barrick Resources (TSE) to seek gold projects for joint venture in Mexico.
