Environment, juniors topics for next CIM lunch

The international mining scene will be the topic of discussion at the next meeting of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, to be held Thursday, Dec. 11 at Toronto’s Ontario Club.

The lecture, to be delivered by William Prast, head of Mining Journal Research Services, will focus on how the industry is coping with such concerns as environmental issues and the credibility of the junior mining sector.
