Encouraging values on Goldfield ground

Joint venture partners Sutton Resource (VSE) and Crown Resources (VSE) intersected a number of gold values during a recent drilling program on the Goldfield project in Nevada.

The results included a 60-ft. intersection in hole 91-1 from 180 ft. to 240 ft. grading 0.056 oz. gold per ton, and a 45-ft. interval grading 0.094 oz. gold in hole 91-8. The best-grade intersection was in hole 91-4 which averaged 0.17 oz. gold over 10 ft. from 80 ft. to 90 ft.

The drilling was done over 1,200 ft. of strike length on a silica-flooded fault structure. The zone remains open along strike in both directions as well as downdip.

Sutton President Michael Kenyon said the primary reason for the work was to meet assessment requirements, and although the results warrant follow-up, no immediate work is planned. He said both companies have other higher priority projects on which they are currently focusing.
