Encanto prospect proves promising for Peruvian Gold

Preliminary trenching on the Encanto gold porphyry prospect on the Bonita concession in Ecuador is returning encouraging numbers for Peruvian Gold (VSE).

The junior can earn a 60% interest in the property, which covers 21,000 hectares in northeastern Ecuador.

Channel sampling of a quartz-veined porphyry returned 171.4 ft. grading 0.15 oz. gold and 0.28 oz. silver per ton, including 56.6 ft. grading 0.3 oz. gold and 0.62 oz. silver in trench 1.

A second trench, 105 ft. below, and south of, the first trench, yielded 49.2 ft. grading 0.11 oz. gold and 0.21 oz. silver, including an 11.2-ft. interval grading 0.42 oz. gold and 0.7 oz. silver.

The Encanto porphyry measures up to 984 ft. in width and is exposed intermittently through a cover of deep soil. The intrusive measures close to 1 mile in length.

Further trenching, in preparation for drilling, will continue on the property.
