Ego funding Asquith Twp. drill program

The diamond drilling program, currently under way, is being funded by Ego, which can earn a 50% interest in the property from Asquith.

Ten holes totalling 3,671 ft have been completed to date with visible gold present in six. Hole 19-01, contained two significant intersections of 0.21 oz gold per ton over 8.9 ft and 0.27 oz over 8.4 ft. Ego President, Edward Wenger, says further results will be available following check assaying. According to Wenger, assaying has been completed on seven holes confirm ing the gold-bearing nature of parallel zones for a strike length of 500 ft and to a vertical depth of 200 ft.

Drilling is continuing with step- out holes to further test the zone along strike and at depth. Ego has committed to fund additional drilling to earn a 50% interest.

The 65-claim property contains the former Buckingham and Holding prospects which were explored by shallow shafts during the late 1920s.
