title Federal Mines Minister Vows to be Strong Voice, I would like to restate that The Mining Association of Canada sees no problem in putting forests and

mines under the responsibility of a single minister, especially if the ** ** minister carried full cabinet responsibility for these industries. **

** contacts with various government officials. **

It has nothing to do with the handling of forestry and mines together by one single minister.

** Walter Curlook President The Mining Association of Canada. **
