Results from the first four holes drilled on the Alejandra breccia encountered visible gold and ruby silver.
The second hole in the 21-hole program, which totalled 2,029 metres, intersected 35.2 metres of mineralized breccia grading 8.1 grams gold and 80 grams silver per tonne. The intercept began only 8 metres below the surface and included a 19.8-interval grading 12 grams gold and 103 grams silver.
Hole 5 also intercepted the breccia near the surface, encountering 16 metres grading 21.4 grams gold and 158 grams silver, including 6 metres of 37.5 grams gold and 275 grams silver.
These assays represent cut values; individual assays were capped at 50 grams gold and 300 grams silver per tonne.
At a depth of 32 metres, in the Elizabeth vein, drilling hit 1.2 metres of 11.7 grams gold and 136 grams silver.
Hole 7 cut the Elizabeth vein in a 1.1-metre interval, grading 5 grams gold and 43 grams silver at a depth of 16 metres.
The fourth hole intersected the breccia unit at a depth of 52 metres, encountering 32 metres of 2 grams gold and 16 grams silver. Included in the interval were 12.2 metres averaging 4.3 grams gold and 19 grams silver.
Ecuadorian also drilled the Dorada zone, 1 km south of the Alejandra zone, and expects to receive results from the remaining holes in the next few weeks. The drilling has focused on a large epithermal system, outlined by extensive mapping and sampling on the 338-sq. km the Beroen property.
