The properties, located in Lander and Eureka Counties, cover a total of 52,000 acres in Nevada’s Cortez gold trend. Two of properties are currently leased to third parties with ECM entitled to receive periodic payments as well as production royalties.
On one property leased from ECM by Royal Gold (NASDAQ), drilling last fall encountered grades of 0.11 oz gold per ton over 35 ft and 0.097 oz over 10 ft.
ECM, a private company based in Billings, Mont., says it is currently seeking partners to work on its uncommitted properties, including those located in central Nevada and Lemhi Cty, Idaho. The company owns interests in 25 mining properties in Nevada, Oregon, Montana and Idaho.
