Echo Bay bows out of Colorado property

Having completed diamond drilling and a project review, Echo Bay Mines (TSE) has decided to terminate its option agreement with Hendricks Minerals Canada (CDN) for the Cross mine near Nederland, Colo.

The major drilled two underground and six surface holes. Two of the surface holes were drilled in the vicinity of the existing mine workings, while two others tested separate targets north and east of the mine. All holes intersected gold mineralization.

Hendricks is seeking joint-venture partners so that exploration work can proceed.
