A new quarterly production record was announced by Eastmaque Gold Mines (TSE) from its operations at Kirkland Lake, Ont., and from its 50% interest in the American Girl mining joint venture in California. The company produced 15,000 oz. gold from the two operations in its most recent quarter, thereby exceeding second-quarter production (to Sept. 30, 1990) by about 3,000 oz.
