Eastfield expands Casino area holdings

Recent property acquisitions in the Yukon Territory will give Eastfield Resources (VSE) over 40 sq. km of ground adjacent and to the west of the Casino property owned by Pacific Sentinel Gold.

Eastfield expanded its interest in the area through a property consolidation with Renoble Holdings. On closing of the agreement, Eastfield will have a 100% interest, subject to a 5% net profits interest on a portion of the property.

The company hopes to attract a joint venture partner to explore several large copper geochemical anomalies identified in the 1960s. No gold sampling was done at the time of the reconnaissance work and little exploration has been done on the property since. Subsequent sampling on one of the targets did identify two gold anomalies.

Eastfield notes that at least three of the copper anomalies form a westerly trend extending from the Casino deposit.
