An exploration program has started on the Ennadai gold project of East West Resource Corp. in northeastern Saskatchewan, the company says.
It says the program will include additional geophysical and geological work as well as diamond drilling on the property, located about 170 km north of Rabbit Lake. The Budget is set at $300,000.
Targets are within a greenstone belt in the Canadian Precambrian Shield, near the transition between volcanics and sediments, where exploration to date has located the Nirdac Creek showing. A diamond drill hole on this showing intersected a 1.5-m section assaying 0.401 oz gold per ton, East West says.
East West has an option to earn a 49% interest in the project, (now held by Saskatchewan Mineral Development Corp.), by spending $1,200,000 over a 3-year period.
