Dynatec Mining has won a trophy for having the fewest compensable accidents in 1992 and subsidiary Dynatec Qumin has won for accident reduction.
The awards were presented at the annual meeting of the Quebec Association of Mining Contractors (QAMC) in Val d’Or.
The meeting was highlighted by talks on worker safety as it relates to contractors.
The QAMC consists of 16 contractor companies and represents about 350 employees.
