Once the Ken Snyder gold-silver mine is up and running early next year, royalty companies Franco-Nevada Mining (FN-T) and Euro-Nevada Mining (EN-T) plan to turn over operational management to Toronto-based Dynatec (DY-T).
Owned equally by the sister companies, the Nevada mine is expected to be producing at the rate of 250,000 oz. gold-equivalent by May 1999. Cash costs at the underground operation are estimated to be US$80 per oz.
