Duration expands dewatering at Theresa

Initial results from an underground program at the Theresa mine project near Geraldton, Ont., are encouraging, Duration Mines president David Rogers says. Duration and Locator Explorations are equal partners on the project. As a result, Duration and Locator plan to extend the dewatering program to the 1,000-ft or sixth level of the mine. Dewatering has been completed to the 4th level.

Also the partners plan to add a second drill underground and a third surface drill. Although all assay data from the underground program remains to be received, Mr Rogers notes that initial results are confirming the historical mine grades which ranged from 0.11-0.6 oz gold per ton. The program is also confirming the presence of several high grade zones which exceed one oz.

Locator and Duration plan to spend $2.2 million on the property by year-end.
