Duration cuts VG in first drill hole

Visible gold has been cut in a drill section completed by Duration Mines on the company’s large Casa Berardi area property in Quebec. Three of seven holes intersected quartz veining associated with a shear zone.

Hole 1 cut a 4-in section which graded 1.73 oz gold per ton, Duration says. Another two holes were drilled to test the optioned Ronrico Explorations property to the east. The drills intersected a 700-ft-wide zone of quartz-sericite veining within sulphide-bearing volcanic rocks. Assays from these holes are expected shortly.

Based on the initial drill program, which tested two of 14 mineralized areas, Duration concludes that it is dealing with diverse highly mineralized areas within its large 16-mile- long property.
