Exploration work will soon be under way at three properties, Dufresnoy (ME) reports.
At the Union Mining-New Bidlamaque property near Val d’Or, Que., a drilling program of 3,000 metres is planned. Placer Dome (TSE) recently optioned the property and will spend $1.6 million to earn a 50% interest. Dufresnoy will be the operator.
The Barry Or gold property in Barry Twp. in northwestern Quebec will undergo 2,000 metres of drilling, as will the Inmont gold-copper property near Rouyn-Noranda, Que.
