Drilling underway on Tartan Lake joint venture

The exploration decline at Tartan Lake has now reached a distance of 2,400 ft and is at a vertical depth of 360 ft. The project, a joint venture of Granges Exploration and Abermin Corp., is reported on schedule and the underground drilling program is under way.

Surface and underground diamond drilling carried out on the South zone, 300 ft south of the Main zone and 150 ft south of the decline, have returned the following intersections: Hole Inter- Ounce gold No section per ton

(ft) 221 6.7 0.253

22.0 0.194 227 18.0 0.227

7.3 0.279

7.9 0.328 UG-2 1.0 0.242 UG-3 18.1 0.787 These intersections indicate continuity has improved in the South zone. No tonnage estimates from this zone have been included in any of the preliminary feasibility studies to date. Granges and Abermin say there’s a good potential for adding economic tonnage to the project.

Driving of the decline and underground drilling are continuing.
