Drilling resumes at the Clinton project

In a move to increase its reserves to at least 5 million tons, New Goldcore Ventures (ME) has resumed drilling on the Clinton copper-zinc project in Quebec.

Situated in the Eastern Townships, the property encompasses the past-producing Clinton copper mine. It contains a drill-indicated mineral reserve of 1.5 million tonnes of 2.02% copper and 1.54% zinc. Cambior (TSE) holds a half interest in the property.

New Goldcore will be drilling two holes and performing borehole geophysical tests on the B zone. The program will include drilling and geophysical surveys to test at depth two newly discovered induced-polarization anomalies.
