Drilling resumes at J.A.G. prospect

Drilling has resumed at the Malartic gold property of J.A.G. Mines in northwestern Quebec, the company reports.

The company says its 1986 drilling campaign delineated a mineralized structure along 3,940 ft, down to at least 720 ft and with a thickness varying between about 6 ft and 33 ft.

A drilling campaign totalling about 33,800 ft is planned. The property contains a vertical shaft 263 ft deep and two exploration drifts 141 ft and 360 ft long.
