A reverse circulation drill program is being planned by joint venture partners, Brican Resources (VSE) and Bow Valley Mining to test a large zone of gold mineralization recently discovered on the 8,000-acre North Peak property located in Nevada’s Battle Mountain district.
Brican says the ore grade gold mineralization was found in outcrops over a strike length of 4,000 ft along a zone of altered and faulted sedimentary rocks. Gold values in the range of 0.01 to 0.2 oz gold per ton were reported fromrock chip sampling along the fault structure, and the company says a recently constructed drill access road exposed new areas of mineralized rock west of the fault zone where values up to 0.032 across 10 ft were encountered.
The companies plan to drill several fences of inclined holes across the strike of the structure.
On its own, Brican plans to drill a number of recently defined targets on the eastern portion of its Gold Star property adjacent to the Corona/Huntington Brett claims near Vernon, B.C.
