Drilling continues at Scott Lake

A pair of drill rigs has been stationed at the Scott Lake base metal property in the Chibougamau, Que., area where project partners Thunderwood Resources (TSE), the operator, and Greenstone Resources (TSE) will perform a 25,000-ft. drilling program and undertake electromagnetic surveys during the next three months.

The companies said previous drilling outlined a mineralized sequence of felsic-to-mafic volcanics along a strike length of 7,200 ft. A preliminary estimate of reserves of the Scott Lake zinc deposit stands at 777,000 tons grading 0.14% copper, 6.78% zinc and 0.34 oz. silver and 0.01 oz. gold per ton.
