Drilling continues at Bellas Gate (April 06, 1992)

More assay results were released by Golden Ring Resources (VSE) from an ongoing drilling program at the Bellas Gate copper-gold property in central Jamaica.

A third vertical hole at the Connors deposit returned 320 ft. grading 0.46% copper and 0.005 oz. gold per ton. The hole terminated in mineralization at 365 ft. because of drilling difficulties.

Results were also released for the first two vertical holes drilled at the Camel Hill deposit located about 3,000 ft. southwest of Connors. The first hole returned 730 ft. (from 40-770 ft.) grading 0.48% copper and 0.006 oz. gold, including 415 ft. grading 0.63% copper and 0.008 oz. gold. The second hole returned a 44-ft. intersection grading 0.78% copper and 0.008 oz. gold from surface to 44 ft. Assays are still pending for drilling from 44-609 ft.
