An April 7 meeting in Toronto on the subject of “advancing downhole geochemical logging technology” will be hosted by the Mining Industry Technology Council of Canada (MITEC).
Guest speakers will be Pat Kileen of the Geological Survey of Canada and Jeff Schweitzer of instrument maker Schlumberger.
The meeting will review the status of existing technology, solicit ideas for future systems, and encourage discussion of the limitations, possibilities and acceptable costs of developing and implementing proposed technology. The meeting, free to MITEC members and $45 for non-members, will take place at the Teck boardroom, 70th floor, First Canadian Place.
