Diamond drilling is under way at the South Voisey’s Bay project of Donner Resources (drz-v).
The 8,000-metre program is being managed by Teck (tek-t), which can earn a half interest in the project. The area being tested incorporates properties held in joint venture between Donner and several other companies.
The program is designed to identify magmatic sulphide mineralization in an underlying troctolite system, said to be similar to the one hosting the Voisey’s Bay deposit, 100 km to the north.
Ground geophysical surveys, incorporating gravity, magnetometer and horizontal loop (MaxMin) electromagnetic techniques, are ongoing.
