Donner buys Labrador claims

Donner Minerals (DML-V) is increasing its position in the South Voisey’s Bay area of Labrador by buying out partner Thistle Creek Resources’ half-interest in 165 mineral claims.

The Vancouver-based junior has agreed to acquire the interest in return for 500,000 of its shares, half of which will be issued

upon closing of the agreement. The balance is due after $1 million has been spent on exploration work.

The purchase will give Donner a 100% interest in the claim blocks. The claims are part of an extensive land position held by Donner in the South Voisey’s Bay area. Teck (TEK-T) can earn half of Donner’s interest in that land position.
