In four of the eight holes recently reported, drill crews intersected 0.43% copper over widths of 7.6-65 metres. These intersections locally contained intervals with higher grades over smaller widths. One of these holes contained an intercept grading 1.3% copper over 7.6 metres, another had 1.14% copper over 3 metres, and a third intersected 0.5% copper over 19.8 metres.
The copper mineralization is concentrated in brecciated areas. Two holes failed to intersect significant mineralization (and did not intersect breccia).
Drilling is testing induced-polarization anomalies. The porphyry remains open in all directions and at depth. A 3.5-km-by-800-metre anomaly underlies the porphyry system.
