Ditem adds pipe at Tichegami

Ditem Explorations (DIT-V) has intersected kimberlite while testing a couple of distinct geophysical targets while drilling on the Tichegami property in north-central Quebec.

The newly designated H-3 and H-4 discoveries are just 40 metres apart and form part of a cluster of kimberlites, including the barren H-1 and weakly diamondiferous H-2. Collared at minus 60 on the edge of an oval-shape lake, Ditem pulled 138 metres of a multi-phase kimberlite from the hole, starting at a down-hole depth of 24 metres. The hole was shut down while still in kimberlite at 162 metres of depth.

Stepping out 40 metres west of H-3, the drill crew cut 126 metres of kimberlite under 12 metres of overburden in a hole angled at minus 55 into the H-4 geophysical target. The hole ended in migmatic gneiss at a depth of 126 metres.

Weather permitting, Ditem plans to test two more targets, including one on the Beaver Lake South property.

In early April, Pure Gold Minerals (PUG-T) chose to convert its option to earn a 60% interest in Tichegami and a half-interest in Beaver Lake South into a 10% carried interest. Ditem now holds a 90% interest in the properties. The Tichegami Lake properties are 90 km south of the promising Renard kimberlitic discoveries, made by Ashton Mining of Canada (ACA-T) and provincially owned Soquem.
