Revenue from diamond sales by Redaurum (RRK-T) jumped 33% in the second quarter.
For the three months ended June 30, Redaurum reaped revenues of $2.5 million, compared with just under $1.9 million in the first quarter. In 1995, Redaurum had total annual sales of $3.7 million.
All of the diamonds sold during the second quarter were taken from Redaurum’s two mines in South Africa.
But the company says production from the newly commissioned Kelsey Lake mine in Colorado should make a significant contribution to revenue during the final two quarters of 1996.
