The past-producing Pickle Crow gold mine is being revived as a possible producer yet again.
Pickle Crow Resources had attempted to place the former producer into production during the late 1980s. However, this was never achieved and the project was eventually downgraded to exploration status.
During its original production run from 1935 to 1966, the mine turned out more than 1.4 million oz. gold at an average grade of 0.47 oz. to a maximum depth of 3,800 ft.
Wolfden believes the property hosts exploration opportunities that could boost the existing resource of 1.1 million tons grading 0.22 oz. gold per ton.
To acquire the project, the junior agreed to deliver 400,000 of its shares to Pickle Crow Resources.
