Nora Exploration (NXI-M) has increased production at its diamond concession in Namibia.
Production in November topped 32 tons per hour, representing a fourfold increase over previous rates. Grade and cost estimations, however, will not be available until January.
Nora attributes the increase to a second processing plant that is designed to boost hourly production, eventually, to 50 tons. Additional equipment has been ordered in the hope that material from lower-grade zones can be processed in the future.
