Montreal-based Nora Exploration (NXI-M) has expanded its diamond exploration base in Africa by acquiring half-interests in two off-shore concessions in Namibia.
The concessions, known as Block J and Block N, total 190,500 ha. Block J is held in partnership with Woduna Mining Holding; Block N, with Karas Mineral Holdings. In return for its half-interests, Nora has agreed to fully fund exploration of the properties. Development work, slated for the fall, will begin with a $400,000 program of geophysics.
