DIAMOND PAGE — Cons. Texas adds to NWT holdings

Consolidated Texas Northern Minerals (CXH-V) has added to its MAC claim block in the Mackay Lake area of the Northwest Territories by acquiring 43,900 acres of infill claims from Inukshuk Capital.

Earlier this summer, Consolidated Texas trimmed back its original 314,935-acre claim block to hold 211,651 acres of ground. The recent acquisition boosts the company’s holdings to 255,551 acres.

The MAC property lies north and west of the Mackay Lake and Back Lake projects, held jointly by SouthernEra Resources (SUF-T) and Kalahari Resources (KLA-V).

Consolidated Texas can earn a 100% interest in the MAC claims from Inukshuk by spending $1.2 million on exploration by August 1998.

Earlier this year, Archon Minerals (ACS-V) acquired the right to earn a 25% interest in any kimberlite discovery it made on the original claim block.
