DIAMOND NEWS — Shore Gold acquires Saskatchewan diamond properties

The Fort a la Corne diamond play in Saskatchewan has attracted the attention of Shore Gold (ASE).

Shore has acquired a half interest in claims totalling 4,654 hectares, next door to the Fort a la Corne joint venture of Kensington Resources (VSE), Uranerz Exploration & Mining, Cameco (TSE) and Monopros.

The Fort a la Corne diamond cluster is known to contain 71 kimberlites, of which 45 have been tested to date.

Shore Gold believes the newly acquired property may contain part of the Fort a la Corne kimberlite cluster. A low-level airborne magnetometer survey is being prepared.
