DIAMOND NEWS ROUNDUP — Lytton reports JD/OD results

Partners Lytton Minerals (LTL-T) and New Indigo Resources (NDR-A) have reported results from a mini-bulk sample conducted on the JD/OD-3 pipe.

The pipe is situated under a small lake within the jointly held Jericho diamond project, some 20 km north of the Lupin gold mine in the Northwest Territories.

In total, 7.34 carats were recovered from the 10.53 tonnes of kimberlite extracted from the pipe. The drill program defined a nearly circular pipe with steeply dipping walls and a preliminary resource of 10.5 million tonnes to a depth of 350 metres.

The partners are also testing two land-based kimberlites in the project area.

Processing of an underground bulk sample collected from one of these, JD/OD-1, is in progress. If results warrant, a feasibility study will follow.
