DeSantis puzzle coming together

Geologists for Delbridge Mines are starting to piece together the geology of the DeSantis property in Turnbull Twp., near Timmins, Ont.

The company reports encouraging assays of 0.15 oz and 0.06 oz gold per ton over 6-ft widths from the most recent drilling. And further results will be available in coming weeks.

“There appears to be a pinching and swelling effect of the quartz structures both on a horizontal and vertical plane with at least two main quartz structures along with a multitude of smaller veins and stringers around the 100-125-ft level,” President Robert Onotsky says.

The host gabbro, granodiorite, porphyry formation is much wider than the company anticipated and funds are available to further define the unit with additional drilling, trenching and sampling. Work is ongoing.

Delbridge also holds ground in the Mishibishu area near Wawa, Ont., where field crews are expected to start grassroots work next month.
