Dejour busy with several projects

Dejour Mines is involved with three diamond drilling projects. At Poirer, Que., Battle Mountain Gold is spending $500,000 of a $2-million program designed to test several gold targets on the property. Upon spending $2 million, Battle Mountain can earn a 50% interest in the claims.

At Turquetil, N.W.T., Dejour is exploring a 35,000-acre property optioned from Noble Peak Resources. A prospecting program has identified several areas of favorable gold geology. At the Joyce showing, drilling by past operators in 1978 cut a 43-ft section grading 0.212 oz gold per ton.

Another drill program is also planned for the Quevillon property in Quebec. This work will be funded by Butte Canyon Resources.
