Dakoro venture producing gold from Bolivian placers

The Dakoro joint venture is now producing gold from one of its six properties in Bolivia.

Dakota Resources (ASE) owns a half interest in the venture through wholly owned subsidiary SGS Resources.

Production from the placer operation averages one gram gold per cubic metre of material processed. At these rates, the deposit should yield about 11,000 oz. gold over the next year at US$80 per oz.

The venture hopes to add an additional production line to the deposit in the near future and begin operations at the remaining five properties in May, 1994.
